so as I've said in the past, I'm pretty selective with what teams I join, but am not exactly such a sought-after commodity that such an attitude always pays off. I've accepted as a possibility that I will sit a lot of seasons out rather than play with a team that I don't think is right for me, and that's fine. with that in mind, I'm tentatively looking for a team for next season, primarily as demo.

when I tell people that I still think my potential best class is demo, they ask me why I keep playing pocket every season. the honest answer to that question is that I just seem to get a lot more pocket offers. I don't know if it's because most good teams already have their demo going forward, or whether people prefer my style of ultra maincalling from the pocket position, but for whatever reason I haven't gotten very many demo offers at all recently.

I'd try pocket and even roamer on the right team, but I really do feel like my dm is stronger on demo, at least at my best.

p.s. I fully understand my style of hella comms/micromanaging isn't for everybody, but I do think it works with players who are down for grinding and improving.

that's weird, I was told that these problems didn't exist until I joined and everything was going just peachy...

anyways n3 is being a tad harsh but the overall sentiment is mostly true, the people on this squad have a lot of potential and are already good front-runners due to their extremely good dm but need to work on mentality and not getting angry or defeatist in tough situations

if they improve at those things then they could play at a low-mid invite level with time, but it's a big if

p.s. I want to add that none of this really applies to unskilled who was a very level-headed guy who actually does work a great deal on improving his gamesense and timing

correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this dude using the dragon's fury for all his particularly strong pyro performances? of course people are gonna get pissed off when they play against that weapon because it basically has no counter other than like 5 people shooting the pyro and no one else, or running a perma sniper or some shit

allowing broken unlocks is the issue (see: pocket pistol), not the players who abuse them

edit: yeah if you look at this dude's stats he's literally just spamming detonator to light people on fire from mid range and then using the dragon fury bonus to do a free 400 dpm with no skill required whatsoever, that has nothing to do with pyro in general if you actually have a sensible banlist
