#42 RGL: Money and Development- A Spectator Suggestion in TF2 General Discussion

I played in playoffs and won 2 out of 4 seasons. Played in grand finals 3 times.

how many grand finals have you played?

Here's some hidden lore. Midway through playoffs in season 29 (the season where we salvaged Alfa's team after roster locks), Alfa wanted to forfeit if we made grand finals because he was scared of possibly losing to scratch/juju. Thankfully he was convinced to play by me/bobby and that ended up being an amazing grand finals.

Yeah ok but my point still stands. I wasn't a roster rider and I did build/organize those teams.

When have I been a roster rider? one season in IM I didn't have time to play? I made the team and recruited the players, not sure why its "JM's open team". I played 3 partial seasons and 3 full seasons.

Did you even play ESEA? or are you a twitch chat stream viewer that currently resides in the RGL newcomer division?

Is winning an RGL division even an achievement when all the top teams are knee-capped with class restrictions? I only want to compete against the best, not participate in a make-a-wish contest.

Sounds like not playing RGL is one my biggest dubs and I've won a lot of championships

If you keep signing up to play nothing changes. Vote with your wallet.

Its a shame we could never port over an equivalent to ETF2L in NA.

You people talking garbage all know me but I have no clue who you are. I guess low open players aren't memorable.

Dont mind bearodactyl. He's still butt hurt that JM and I laughed at him for thinking that bearodactyl on any of the 9 classes in TF2 would constitute sandbagging in IM (or open for that matter).

I crafted and captained some of the finest championship rosters. None of those teams play without me assembling the rosters.

ESEA-Open S25 Champions (killed the entire IM division by not selecting it)
ESEA-IM S27 Champions (most dominant team in ESEA history based on rounds won/loss)
ESEA-Open S29 Champions (resurrected a dead roster and we won with the remaining backups available)
ESEA-Open S30 Champions

Runner up in S26 and S31

If you really want to make TF2 great again remove all non standard classes (Pyro, Heavy, Engineer, Spy, Sniper). This would make the game faster and more enjoyable.

#39 How would you buff the spy? in TF2 General Discussion
scrambledBackstabbing is a dumb gimmick that's gone too far. It's not something you can rely on for any strats. Buffing spy would make the game worse and more random because you'd experience more of that gimmick.

You'd probably need to rework the spy entirely to remove backstabbing and add some other mechanic. People who play spy probably wouldn't like that.

This is the truth.

Buff the revolvers and remove the backstab mechanic entirely. Being able to go invisible + flank and pick people off with the revolver is perfectly viable.

#7 rahThread: -dxlevel 81 vs. -dxlevel 100 in TF2 General Discussion

Regardless of performance I enjoy the dullness of dx8. You can tweak a few commands to make dx9 similar but its just not the same.

My good buddy bobby peanstalk also says the sniper scope and fog is fcked up in dx9.

Don't buy the dx9 propaganda
