samifaceam i the only one that feels like valve ignoring the existence of our competitive game mode is just a touch passive aggressive? i feel like they're just going to wait until average player stats plummet before they support it and then be like "see guys no one wanted this lolol"
Didn't they already do that by waiting till like 2 years after player numbers started dropping to release it then ignoring any feedback during the beta?

Didn't we already try switching leagues at a time when tf2 had a larger, growing playerbase and ESEA had just given the community a pretty good reason to ditch it? If an NATF2L happens and the switch isn't carried out absolutely perfectly with zero playerbase fracture then its 100% the death of this game in NA.

The way esea handles deadlines always seems so fuckey to me. Nobody has any clue how many teams are payed until after registration but we're still expected to fill all the slots without knowing how many slots there are to fill. If they would have taken one extra day before refunding and moving teams for tri to come here and say 'yo we need one more team' this wouldn't have been an issue. That's what happened with invite since we know all the teams beforehand and 2 teams stepped up.

viperjust because top 16 open teams got moved into im doesn't mean every one of those rosters will field players for im
once reg closes esea weeds out all the dead or partially filled rosters and either relegates them to open, or marks them dead, so that will drastically reduce the number of im rosters
Also don't open teams not show unless someone is paid, whereas IM and invite teams show regardless

Id love to hop on the fuck esea train but the guy set up a google ad and made it look just like an official esea ad but link to his referral link. esea's paid out like a million $ for this referral stuff so its not them just trying to screw someone out of 30K, they're annoyed that he mislead their customers to take advantage of their referral program.
