because once spots appear on the liver its possible/probable that the cancer could spread somewhere else in the body. so you could replace the liver but it could appear somewhere else later.

also, i think that they're a bit hesitant to give someone with terminal cancer a new liver (that may or may not make him better) over someone else who is otherwise healthy. not to mention that liver transplant is not a small thing, its a pretty serious operation.

if you're using chrome you can turn off its built-in flash player by going to chrome://plugins in the omnibar and unchecking anything with "flash player" in the title.

the localization files control how basically any text is displayed in tf2, in whatever the player's language is. so those are updated when you see this in patch notes, usually to add/fix translations or new content.

can we get the upcoming esea matches listed on saloon so people have time to place their bets?

we switched away from it because it wasn't compatible with bo3s, and also when we started to adopt tftv-overlay. the overlay in that screenshot was literally just a picture and text source in obs, so i wrote a new one that's fully software and looked nice with the hud.

we're apparently looking into centered score overlays right now but i do not know the progress of that as of this post. the problem is that some people want to see previous scores instead of just who's leading in the series.

i hate this trend of newer games having no lan support. like, when and why did this become a thing? i know blizzard is trying to standardize the way the game is played but this is just dumb...

i know patreon is used a bit around here, and if you're currently using the site, please note that data from the site's recent hack was just dumped on the internet. this seems to be the site's whole database, which includes password hashes (which are encrypted in a way that is very hard to decrypt, but not impossible), as well as private information such as addresses and private messages.

if you use the same password that you use on patreon on other websites, i recommend changing it. depending on the way that payment info was stored in the database (it's still being extracted by researchers), further action may have to be taken in regards to credit and debit cards, so watch your bank statements carefully.

please make sure that you spread this info to anyone who you know uses patreon, this is a pretty big hack at the moment.

haveibeenpwned.com currently has some of the email addresses in its database so you can check yours in that site.
