It disables color correction entities: https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Color_correction_(entity) so that color correction can only be affected by color correction volumes.

Color correction affects FPS very very minimally. So it depends on if you want more natural colors or not.

You have Windows, right? Try out setting different dxlevels (-dxlevel 98, 95, 90, 100) too see how it affects your FPS.

Adding these launch options should help a bit:

-freq 120 : sets the game's refresh rate to 120HZ for your monitor
-threads 4 : increases the number of worker threads available (according to your 7700HQ CPU, this is the ideal value)

And then you can test out these:

-r_emulate_gl
-high
-nouserclip

The navmesh generation isn't guaranteed to produce functional navmeshes, but yeah, there should at least be an auto genned mesh.

Yeah the conflicting configs sentence is for people who have something like Comanglia's config in their autoexec. As long as you're overriding individual settings, you'll be good. You can also use the snapshots_lan module level to get the lowest interp. Just put snapshots_lan in your custom.cfg (instead of cl_interp 0).
