ScrambledI think the big thing that a lot of people are missing here, is that lowpander are playing for fun. It's not like muuki isn't a perfectly capable soldier or anything.

and unless people think highpander are sandbagging (which is a fair thing to think I guess, it's not like they knew they'd be capable for prem with a full time offclasser at the start of the season though imo), it's not like they're 'griefing'. They still played seriously and came up with strats for a particular style

I dunno though I still think hildreth got carried

this was made like 6 months ago but we forgot to release it somehow

euros may remember we published pro7 on etf2l, which had some good and bad changes. The changes that were well received were kept and the ones that weren't were reverted basically. this map hasn't been relevant in NA for a long-ass time tho so I dunno which version of the map you guys even remember since other versions made huge changes too

I'll probably make a imgur album for the main changes later

Does this lock after B caps?
If the defending team holds 3rd with the setup around the medium health/full ammo that really opens a lot of flanking possibilities, as BLU can't really have someone watching the dropdown 24/7.

Hey,

Fubar and I will be pushing out a new version of barnblitz this month, and we'd like any constructive feedback that people have.

We're aiming to be a little more experimental with this version than in the past, here's the current proposed changelog

It's worth noting that, according to comp.tf, barnblitz pro6 went unplayed in any UGC season, and there were some pretty large changes made from pro4 to pro6 - here is an incomplete changelog between those 2 versions http://pastebin.com/2cLuuZB7

As such, if UGC was the last time you played the map, there's a fair chance that your complaints have been addressed already (ie: difficulty pushing last).

But yeah, any feedback/suggestions would be appreciated

KevinIsPwnI am just failing to see any advantages of this worth switching the name over. The whole thing just seems like you did it in a hurry after the map workshop release without thinking it all the way through.

it's something we discussed in a previous thread about a month ago before there was any hint of a maps workshop. If your opinion that 'the whole thing being rushed' extends further than naming conventions, understand that all previously posted about bugs that were fixable were fixed in this version, so it's not like the map just had a new name slapped on it and that was all.

I'll edit this post and provide pictures in a sec, but if you build a sentry on the boxes at last and plan to upgrade it from that position, when jumping at the box, you can get stuck in the clipping a bit

I'd feel bad making another thread after like 3 days :D

changelog (probably missing stuff as always because me and fubar are bad at this)

swapped the mid point prop back from the new box and applied blockbullet liberally to it

some hiding spots have had shadow bleed entirely fixed to minimise fps cfg disadvantage (eg: the one giraffe asked about removing the metal sheet from before)

stickies no longer poke through the metal sheet at china

the hidden room was removed (YOU DID THIS)

texture-seaming on cliff has been significantly improved (much less ugly lighting)

lighting indoors has been slightly (probably not very noticably) improved

as always, lots of clipping, map holes etc have been fixed

the rocks behind either side of point have had 'hitbox' improvements

known bugs (we can't fix them before release as fubar is gone for a while and there's no point postponing this as it's still a 'clearly' better version)

pixelwalk near cliff still exists

clipping on box near point kinda sucks atm

outside background detail that benroads suggested (can't be done with major changes but I'll note it anyways)

part of the cliff texture disappears where clipping was fixed if jumping

prop draw distance is wrong
