sadly I find most games I “want back” are old patches of games before they got somehow ruined
H1Z1: King of the Kill (pre 2017 Combat Update)
Rust (original version - was completely scrapped and remade in 2014)
Dota 2 (pre neutral items and shards etc)
wait tf2stadium is actually up and running lobbies
cheetazVery happy with the results. About 70% increase in average fps!
I use a 240Hz monitor, and with the 7700k, the frames would dip way below that quite often.
However with the 13600k now, I'd say 90% of the time I'm over 240 fps
I’m surprised to hear this, especially with DDR5.
I would double check the configurations because I wouldn’t expect to see dips below 300 on dx8, even on an upward pub
this is the most insanely annoying thing when trying to compare RAM and CPUs. all the benchmarks are 4k on ultra in some game you wouldn't even play for 30 minutes if you got it for free with your new graphics card
Wait, I can turn Apex Legends up to Ultra with my new GTX 4090 SUPER TI! Now I can't see anything and my mouse input feels like dog shit!

old 10700K: 2639 frames 8.677 seconds 304.15 fps ( 3.29 ms/f) 24.750 fps variability
new 13600K: 2639 frames 5.994 seconds 440.30 fps ( 2.27 ms/f) 35.378 fps variability
i'm including this one because i don't usually trust the results of the other two for various reasons. this one is just a demo of a normal pub in a cpu-bound spot where the fps would dip. god knows we don't need yet another benchmark demo but this is the one i personally use for tweaking my own settings since i've found it the most representative in its results
