SpyromancerWatching duwatna's stream makes me think Robot Destruction would be a pretty cool 6's gamemode from both a player and spectator pov. Has anyone played enough on it to comment on what would and wouldn't work well in that setting? I could imagine it devolving into engie intel camping and sniper wars on the 2Fort section, but the new depth of strategy seems like it'd be a nice new teamwork over raw DM map.

I don't think the map itself would work very well for 6s, but another(smaller) map in the same gamemode might work well for some type of competitive mode.

What do you mean? There are no towers, no shop(although a mashup of this and the Upgrade Station from mvm would be neat), and no creeps attacking the other base.

- Added 2 new beta maps: RD_Asteroid and PL_CactusCanyon
- Beta maps can be accessed via the quickplay menu by clicking the Play Beta Maps option
- Added a new startup music track from Expiration Date
- Added UGC Highlander Season 12, UGC 6v6 Season 14, UGC 4v4 Season 1, and Tumblr Vs Reddit Season 2 medals
- Fixed the server browser not properly filtering for the "US - East" region when selected
- Fixed a bug where players that are taunting would not use the correct animation
- Fixed Australium weapons using the incorrect arm skin for the Blue team
- Fixed Mutated Milk not being a valid item for the Scout's Special Delivery item set
- Fixed The Stealth Steeler not using the correct team materials
- Fixed some festive weapons using the lowest LOD for the first person view
- Minigun: Winding up via secondary attack now counts toward reducing the one-second accuracy penalty
- Updated the equip_regions for The Southie Shinobi, The Chronomancer, and The Pencil Pusher

- Fixed not using the correct team materials
- Updated to be paintable

- Reminder - Bread Boxes can no longer be crafted after tomorrow (July 9th)

Maybe it's just me, but I feel like that wood texture you're using for the walls and ceiling doesn't blend well with the concrete at last.

I'll have to wait and see the map myself, and boy I can't wait. You've done a really awesome job! :D

AouiI could just close off the doors on the bridge which would completely eliminate the problem, but like I said before, it would ruin a fun and a fast rollout. I was thinking of raising the end of the bridge so combos can't get over it, but that would just mean anyone could get on middle without problem. As of right now I don't have any other solutions, so it looks like adding a door might be it.

Try it and see how it goes then. You should look into getting this map pugged too. You'll get a lot of feedback from them.

The bridge itself is really nice and I like the little underpass it has going with it, but this door can let a combo steamroll into last and get ready to cap while their scouts cap 2nd(like LKincheloe said):

The closing door idea you had doesn't sound too bad, as it could deny that type of play right there. But maybe just taking it out and reworking another path from 2nd could be a decent idea?

Loving the dropdown at second, although I'm not much of a fan of the steel covering behind the point because it's blocking an almost decent rollout. Maybe a possible shift over to the left so it's covering where dropdown is instead of next to it? EDIT: Possibly just making it smaller could work too, seeing as it does provide and alright cover behind the point.

Demoparachute is pretty fun. Stickying up the chokepoints from midair is a neat strat.

- All Demoman stickybombs now have damage ramp up. Full damage is reached 2 seconds after firing.
