the last time pugs were good was 2017-18 pug champ imo at least in terms of public pugs. after that the only way pugs have been good has been private inhouses which will inherently not have many people (and have other downsides like randoming medics)

altho it is some serious copium that "invite strats dont work because the other team is too bad" lmao. optimal play doesnt suddenly become non-optimal when the other team is feeding or something, that just means your execution of the strat was bad. central mids especially are so important in the meta because they punish non-optimal plays like a poorly positioned combo incredibly hard.

u dont have to justify to anyone why u cut someone btw. if they werent fun to play with u dont have to keep playing with them, u dont have to try and convince ppl on tftv that u are in the moral right or something, u just stop playing with them and move on. if ur not super serious about improving it is totally fine to just play with people you like and improve more slowly while having more fun

If I saw those weapons in a match, I'd have reported it too and assumed it was some edgy homophobic racist. I've run into this issue in my PUGs, where someone made a joke about their own ethnicity and someone who didn't know what their background is because all they see is a username was upset.
