I don't know how australian league time limits work, but I think dpm is the relevant stat (i.e. more damage = longer game not better play necessarily).

More importantly, stats cannot accurately reflect gameplay in many circumstances.

A roamer could do 0 dpm yet still accomplish things by, for example, forcing medics or completing backcaps.

A demo could do 400 dpm and be playing poorly because he constantly baits his team and doesn't control relevant space.

I'm jk but you might find more success posting on the ugcleague.com forums as thats where most of the highlander teams will be looking.

Played against him in a lobby he was really obviously cheating. In about 75% of 1v1s he would hit perfect meatshots every single time, then 25% of the time he would just miss like 8 times in a row.

Even watched him apparently tab out to toggle a few times, followed by him either dying and doing nothing or hitting ridiculous shots.

Exceptionally bad movement and gamesense but his accuracy was unreal.

Pretty obvious.

When you DR with a friendly disguise it appears as if the friendly player is dying, but I've never seen anyone actually fall for it. For one, it is the spy who is darkened on the scoreboard for the duration of his feign (not the real medic), and two it should be pretty obvious when a "medic" dies to a 30 damage spam rocket while not healing anyone.

Spy corpse. If you have ragdolls on of course.

Imo Dead Ringer doesn't need to be banned. Its ridiculously situational and the speaker-shattering uncloak noise can be heard from halfway across the map.

My personal philosophy on weapon bans is don't ban just because something isn't used. Only weapons that are abused or annoyingly force a very specific playstyle should warrant whitelisting. If a player can be creative and find a niche for a weapon that is virtually always a direct downgrade, they should be permitted that creative freedom.

Its very easy to spot a feign if you are paying any attention at all, and even if you fail to notice, the spy has like 6 seconds to get out of earshot (again you would have to not be paying any attention at all).

Just some thoughts. Thanks for being so responsive to the community with your development, it really helps a huge amount.

Also: Very unpopular opinion but I think the tide turner should be unbanned. It's a massively high risk high reward weapon. You lose what is without a single doubt the best single weapon BY FAR in the entire game and gain a potential for huge picks and crazy escapes. I dont think anyone will be running the tide turner full time, but it has the potential to spice up an otherwise stagnant demoman metagame.

Even if you think spy is a joke and that it relies on broken game mechanics (aka source) its not easy to understand and manipulate those mechanics as well as really good spies can.

Stabby has always been a level headed and kind guy. Sorry to see him go.

- Played in a valve server with playcomp.tf in my alias
- Asked people if they had heard about comp during setup time
- Was polite and explained some things in chat
- This guy adds me. He was doing pretty well in the pub.
