all people do is make these threads, label the game 'dead' and wait for the game to be popular before playing again.

shotgun denying isn't as big of a deal if you know not to hold +duck while airborne and what's annoying is demanding players.

shotgun makes games shorter and you have less room for error, although gunboats allows you to jump more hence give you more airshot practice.

everyone knows as soon as they're good enough to play in esea-im or invite, they could stop trying because that's the peak and the view is nice and not many people will be fighting to be in that position because tf2 isn't as strong as it used to be.

I did that a lot too when I first started playing tf2, I barely noticed it until I started reviewing my demos and eventually quit doing it.

[As] all class mge (198.23.154.138:27015) not the best, but certainly populated enough for you to find an okay enough player, just avoid the hl players forcing you to play against their spies on spire and you'll be fine (I think)

you're probably right, it makes sense since they ended the beta recently. I assumed it's just going to be a campaign or something minor to buy time before the mm update, and that something as huge as mm would warrant some sort of announcement at least more than a day prior to its release instead of it coming out of nowhere.

they also posted an "update coming soon" type blog post a day before (or the same day) the release date and there isn't one so far. If anything it's just a campaign update.
