bearodactyli understand what you're saying but you can't dismiss the fact that there are currently active players who are incredibly good just because they haven't had the luxury to attend the most recent international lan (iirc habib won a toronto lan not too long ago and shrugger is the only player who has legitimately been adversely affected by a lan but im p sure he like forgot to bring his mouse or config or some shit like that)
toronto LAN was a very fun experience for me however at the time I was at the Top of ESEA-IM and while the 5 ping was absolutely disgusting, the players that were actually there, aside from me, lucrative, mangachu and sheo were majority being UGC HL players, so I wouldnt really call the experience something very relative to lets say the level of play at an insomnia lan
that being said I really want to play at a invite / prem level LAN especially since i have that fetti and can cover travel fees and what not, the only thing really stopping me from going is obviously not having the oppurtunity
