downpourtry a different fps_max maybe, if that doesnt work update some drivers and if that doesnt work try a different mouse see if the problem is still there.
Yeah I will try that, thanks. I think it might have something to do with Windows 8.1 though.

reqqyi wish i was having problems for having too much fps :(
I don't wanna be rude or anything but I think you guys miss the point. I'd rather have much lower and stable fps over having peaks up to 2000 frames per second. As I said earlier fps_max seems to work but I really don't know how to get rid of that mouse lag.

yphspeaking from experience with 20-50fps i'm well aware how annoying freezing is lol
It's actually even worse at some point.
Edit: I've tried locking FPS and it seems to work but it adds little bit of mouse lag (no idea why..).

stabbyActually, he's right. The Source engine only outputs a maximum of 300 FPS, despite what cl_showfps displays.

Hi, when I'm playing alone on various servers (mostly jump servers) my FPS goes up to 2000 and my game starts to freeze. I have tried locking down my FPS but that didn't work (it fixed the freezing but added huge mouse lag). Is there any way to fix this please?

Lucky_ShotSorry for all of these questions but what do I do if my TF2 doesnt have a resolution of 1920x1080?
EDIT: To clarify, I put the lawena resolution at 1920 x 1080, then I recorded the actual clip at 1280 x 720 in TF2. I followed all of your steps with vdub but when I tried to put the .avi into Vegas, it wouldnt work.
You could go with 1680x945 and just render out as 1080p.

Is there any chance you or someone else could release a version without the black "backround" on both HP and ammo? I really like what you did overall but some stuff just doesn't seem to fit in.

It's not just you. There is not much you can do about this but get in touch with the admin (which is pretty much impossible) and donate "better" servers (not talking about game-servers) to TF2Lobby.

If there is any chance you could overclock your CPU, I'd give it a try (in most cases it improves overall performance especially while streaming).
