panda106What config are you using?
Try removing your config and launching the game with "-default" launch option then putting it back
-default doesn't change any settings, it only ignores them and sets them to default for that launch. -autoconfig is what they should have used (and even then it might need you to set the settings in the graphics panel, it seems weird on how it works)

HL2 Done Quicker

HL2 Done Quicker is about to be shown on https://www.twitch.tv/gamesdonequick
This is a segmented run of HL2 on the OLD engine (pre orange-box) which aims to replace Done Quick which was found to be illegitimate since one runner took it on himself to use timescale assistance and save-splicing (starting his segments using a different save than the old one ended).
The final time is 0hs 40mins 49secs which is WAY faster than the last (illegitimate) segemented run time of 1:35, and way faster than the current RTA (real time attack) run of 1:53. It's also still way faster than the current new engine records.

samifaceanyone else having tons of mm crashing issues with this update? i can't find a hud that doesn't crash at 10 seconds...
.... tiny red damage numbers make me sad....
ahud was updated so it doesn't crash but still has some visual bugs. rayshud and flamehud are also updated pretty quick generally

It's not unless someone else took over the project.
I've spoken to Orange a handful of times in the past couple of months and he has shown 0 interest in updating it.
can you make him upload the source somewhere? i could only find this this and this, neither of which actually contain source code

afaik Valve refuses to sign anything anymore so nobody can do that
does this mean people can't edit & compile the source and might have to edit the dll somehow to get around it?
