I think its even more important that its now because the opportunity to have these LAN are scarce as ever before. Not that its gonna save TF2, but it gives a platform to offer some entertaining TF2 in a time where online EU prem games are struggling to maintain 100 viewers which to me tells me that the game failed to be entertaining
This is the best platform to disprove that TF2 failed that we are ever gonna get and therefore having the best teams there is essential
I do not want to watch a shitty pug team EU go there to do some shitty boring ass stalemates and get 8th at the cost of their own pocket, my attention span, the significance/legacy of the game and my regions pride
