my concern with the HD is because one of Linus tech tips assistants throws like wrapping paper on a HD and he loses his shit so i just think its the most delicate thing

do you guys think i can use pillows/blankets as a substitute for foam

im moving houses and moving my pc they have advised its a good idea to remove the gpu, hard drive and cpu cooler (this one especially because i think my joctua d-15 is bigger than most coolers)

i just have three questions

1. should i also removing the mounting things? they are screwed in pretty tight and they arent very big so i dont think they would cause an issue. also i dont have anywhere to store those

2. do i have to unplug all the psu stuff from the motherboard

3. should i take out the psu too?

i think im just gonna accept the benq monitor to be the best atm, better than the 360hz, but zowie did tweet they are working on a 360hz that is better than current gen in september. im upgrading everything once the new cpus/gpus launch so it should be a year after that tweet + a couple of months and it makes sense to try and wait that out

thank u but the budget isnt an issue i dont mind paying for 360 hz if it really is the best thing out there for quake/tf2/whatever competitive game that i'm playing, even if its only a little bit better than 240hz, i just want the best shit.

360hz SOUNDS like it would be the best shit - but ive been told it has problems and some people have even said its not even real 360hz its just a marketing thing at the moment, but the thing is with gamers who aren't tf2 gamers is that they care about the way shit looks.

i watched Shroud's video on it and hes talking about casual gamer shit like how the monitor helps his stream and other bullshit like that when i want some concrete real shit answers and then I decided the only communities that are gonna give me real shit answers are tf2/quake players cause everyone else has casual ass motives

i think i just want the smoothest monitor ideally that doesnt have bad colours i dont think i care for videowork or gaming res. even in non-competitive games i play them on 720p lowest graphics even tho i can play ultra

the 360hz sounded obv until i saw the ghosting thing

the plan is to have 2 monitors, a 4k one for movies and then a gaming one thats all about performance and switch between the two

do you think the resolution has practical benefits moreso than just aesthetics?
