#278 Collection of Custom HUDs in Customization
scybezRoot_anyone know what hud this is? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZFh25LuBjV4
I asked carpet once and he told me it was a discontinued garm3n hud version (R-S)with a different font.

Here is a pic of the original hud
http://www.sdx-gaming.eu/wp-content/gallery/garm3nhud-2012/rs-version.jpg

it looks like his when you just remove all the font files altogether

#34 The Unpopular Opinion in TF2 General Discussion

I feel that instead of valve incorporating into the game, if they would just advertise it somehow, like a link on the website that is visible, or like a button somewhere in the game that redirects up to like a guide with instructions on how to get into competitive tf2, with links to the popular leagues and communities like reddit, tf.tv, ugcleague, or somewhere it would work and put alot less stress on the community. Even like a community update where they write some comic about a player being to good and running off to play competitively, we don't need a whole lobby system just to advertise comp tf2.

#9 Nvidia, how would I roll back drivers to use dx8? in Q/A Help
JakebxDownload and run the setup for this:
32bit: http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/win8-win7-winvista-32bit-306.97-whql-driver-uk.html
64bit:http://www.nvidia.com/object/notebook-win8-win7-winvista-64bit-306.97-whql-driver.html

This is last driver that worked for dx8

Edit: I forgot to include you need to disable auto update in your nvidia control pannel, and turn off auto windows updates: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows-vista/turn-automatic-updating-on-or-off

The last time I tried this I had to uninstall my current driver, which prompted some issues for me, is this nessacary? The last time I uninstalled my driver the card stopped working completely

#7 New Player in Q/A Help

Best advice I could give is to watch casts/stvs and get a feel for the role you want to play, rollouts are essential, and I would reccomend just using newbie mixs, because lobbies tend to be a joke 80% of the time, or just leaky on 24/7 sniper.

Age doesn't really matter, if you can keep your cool and play well then people will respect you. There are douchebags out there that will discredit you for your voice, just igonre them, feeding the trolls isn't a good idea.

Finding a mentor is a great idea, reviewing demos has really helped me see my mistakes. DM is an important factor, but you could be really good in mge and not do well ingame due to just positioning or another factor. The best way to practice is to just play the game.

#1 Nvidia, how would I roll back drivers to use dx8? in Q/A Help

I've done some poking around and discovered that in order to use dx8 with a nvidia card you need to roll back your drivers, I tried this once and ended up kinda fucking it up and having to just reinstall the newest one, could anyone show me how to do this? I have a Nvidia gtx 550 ti card.
