Hey TFTV.
I'm proud to present the third tourney in the TFTV Melee Netplay Tourney series. I think I've learned a lot from the last two, and this format should provide a good balance between the previous two.
Featuring on casting:
Twitchy
Deer
Streamed on http://twitch.tv/kevinispwn
The tourney starts Saturday, December 5th at 3pm EST. Signups are cutoff at Friday, December 4th at 12am EST.
This tourney is going to be free-entry, with a donation-based prizepot.
The prizepot is currently 24 keys, graciously donated by whymeo to kick off our pot!
Prize Distribution:
1st Place - 60% of pot
2nd Place - 30% of pot
3rd Place - 10% of pot
In case of payouts being in decimal range, key prizes will be rounded up.
Our pots are entirely made of donations. If you want to donate, just add me on steam.

Rules:
- We use a slightly edited version of the Smashboards ruleset, which you can see here:
http://smashboards.com/rulesets/melee/
Since pause is automatically left on by the Netplay settings, we can't turn it off; accidentally pausing mid-game still forfeits your stock.
Because we can't do RPS online, lower seed strikes first.
- Use Dolphin 7840
- Double elim
- BO3 throughout, BO5 semi/finals (winner gets 1BO5 advantage in GFs)
- Forfeit rule: 10+ minutes late to your game is an automatic FFL (with exceptions due to extenuating circumstances, discuss with me beforehand)
- In a case of unplayable lag, or inability to connect, players can agree to play on a different Dolphin version. If the issues are not resolved, a TO will be called to determine if a forfeit is warranted. The lagging player also has the right to forfeit the match.
We use a mumble in order to communicate with opponents and properly report scores. Add this mumble to your list!
