Hello, I am fairly new to playing scout in 6s (Before, I played roamer for two seasons in UGC steel/silver). I am currently on a silver team (in playoffs!) and would like someone to help me go over demos and over all help me improve my scout play. I am online for most of the day as well, as far as availability goes. I would guess anyone that is low-med open level would be okay to mentor me seeing as I haven't even played in ESEA before.

What is the best way to practise while offline?

I ran -autoconfig and tried again with no luck. I reread your post and realized I put the addons folders etc. in my custom folder instead of the tf folder, but that still didn't change anything..
EDIT: okay im too tired to do anything right apparently, I didn't move the surf plugins to my tf folder and that was causing the crash, heh..

Mr_OwlInstall metamod and sourcemod to your local tf/addons folder, then get the surf plugins (there's a TFTV thread about the old ones, so search for surfiT) and throw those in there as well. Then in the launch options type -insecure and the plugins will load. Just remove -insecure to stop them from loading
When I start TF2 with -insecure my game instantly crashes, and if I try to take -insecure off and load a surf map it doesn't load the surf plugins. Is there a file I need to configure?

Actually I have a friend that hosts a (i belive) new york server that runs this map. Sometimes it's used for tf2center, but not very often.

nightwatchMr_Fahrenheitedit: when i alt tab it changes to the old missing texture box, so i think that's what that box actually is.. Still need help fixing it though
Load a new map and check console to see if it gives you an error about it, usually it should.
I tried re-installing the crosshair and it's working now, so I guess my problem is resolved for now.

I put the .vtf and .vmt files into the correct folder and loaded the crosshair in tf2, but it doesn't display correctly.. Any ideas?
