earbuds and headphones simultaniusly

Ive seen setups with earbuds in for audio and a headset around the neck for the mic.
Other setups were like wearing noise cancelling headphones to eliminate outside noise to make it easier to hear in-game. Due to on stage half the time not having booths of sort.
Blobfishbut is it possible to get game sounds from headphones and comms from headset?
Yea. Just set your audio device in what over VOIP you're using to the other headset.
