Once you start trying to make up for everyone's unfortunate life events, you may as well say that we're obligated to give every homeless person a handful of change because they were dealt a bad hand. If you're not comfortable with VAC checking wether you use cheats or not while playing on a VAC secure server, then you shouldn't play on VAC secure servers. I mean that's the point of AC, checking for cheats.
On the other hand an AC client that is able to access every file on your PC while mining bitcoins, when it shouldn't even be running is clearly doing a little bit more than just checking for cheats.

DaggerMost invite and main teams haven't shown much interest in CEVO but I think if ESEA drops TF2 then they will come around.
Being forced to play one league isn't a good thing either. Part of the problem with ESEA was lack of competition.
Tf2 can't support two leagues though so it's kind of fucked no matter what you do lol
