if you dont have any ESEA experience i would highly advise against saying your dm is high open. ESEA is a completely different ball game from UGC and the skill gap from high and low open is enormous.

hey i really want to get better at this game but pugs just don't give you the same experience a team does
i am ahigh mid open dm player with a sub open brain. i pug all the time and have a large passion to improve. my biggest weakness is tilting too easily but i recover within 30 seconds. i'd like to think that my mechanics are capable in open. only 1 season of experience on ugc but i played well.

Sens too slow?

tf2 relies on movement much more than cs.
make your sens slow enough that you can aim consistently and precisely.
make your sens fast enough that you can move, airstrafe, and dodge without it being a workout by the end of your session.
i used to use 1.1@400, then 1.1@800, and now i use 2.2@800. it was definitely harder to move with a slow sens, but i would hit every shot. but sometimes hitting every shot isn't enough, so i had to up my sens to avoid getting shot at.
it's just a precise ratio. you will get comfortable with your (new) sensitivity over time.

i am really unhappy with the way csgo rosters are currently
i enjoyed cloud9 winning a major because it felt like a victory for NA
if SK wins another major with stewie, and let's hypothetically say stewie carried them through the tourney, is it a victory for NA or a victory for SA?
my point is that with all 3 of the most popular teams being international it feels like i'm rooting for the team themselves and not the country behind the team

hey, i've been looking for a script or mod or something of the sort that removes the smoke from explosions
everyone uses the nosmoke script, and that's great, i also use it
but i've run into an issue when someone has a pumpkin bomb rocket launcher

the explosion is still there and is very distracting, and it's something the nosmoke script doesn't fix. anyone know of a mod or script that removes/replaces it? thanks
