i have nothing to say about ratchet, i barely know him but from my experiences with him so far he hasn't been as bad as people seem to make him out to be
most people have an opinion of juju, and i do too, but juju has ridiculous demoman dm
jujus mindset is his biggest setback, but mechanically it is his over aggression
i will say this - if you are easily offended by offensive jokes or comments, juju is not a pickup you are looking for
however, if you can take a few (many, actually) stupid jokes and comments then you may want to try out juju
