What's ridiculous is that my soldier Edin got banned for like 10+ days for sending a single hooded trollface image to Sigafoo. This is gonna have a real impact on our record this season, and it's really frustrating having nothing to do with
it and still dealing with this shit.
Seriously just dock his earnings, I just want to play and not deal with the side effects of an admin having paper-thin skin.
i don't doubt it was thin skinned of sigafoo but acting like those two things are isolated incidents is a joke
Edin sent that image accidentally, he meant to send it to someone else
regardless if you believe it was sent accidentally or not, how does a harmless image warrant a week+ ban

hi im edin and i was also banned, i feel like i was banned unfairly and sigafoo is being very very stubborn about my appeal
he has blocked me on discord and won't let me directly negotiate with him
i was going to send a friend (my teammate, send) https://i.imgur.com/EMD6Ylu.png a stupid image as a joke and clicked on sigafoos name by accident in my dm's and sent it to him. i thought it was pretty funny that it was sigafoo of all people so i didn't bother deleting the message and i apologized afterwards saying "hey, wrong person, lol". i was in discord with ekh0 and in conversation i said "i sent it to sigafoo on accident" and we laughed it off
minutes later sigafoo messaged me ekh0's rgl account, said "wrong person sorry" then messaged me my own rgl account, both of which had a week ban for "harassing and brigading admins"
i asked sigafoo if i was banned but he deleted all his messages in discord dm's with me then proceeded to block me so i was unable to message him about an appeal directly. i'm now unable to play my next matches without any warning whatsoever because i made a sincere mistake
an admin got in contact with me saying that he would try to negotiate with sigafoo but that didn't work either, sigafoo said that i was banned because my friend messaged him after i did and i'm staying banned because i'm part of "gxq" and i sent him a "gxq" image, but gxq has nothing to do with this

mastercoms24use 91 or bust91 doesn't exit. There's only 90 and 95 for PCs.
edindx8 is simply betterDX9 is the latest graphics API, with more efficient resource handling. The only reason why DX8 gets more frames in some cases is because it can't support rendering some things, so it uses less advanced graphics. If DX9 were able to fallback to those simplified graphics, then it would have greater performance. But simple FPS comparisons are not what you should base things on anyway. Due to DX9's better technology, you get less stutters, smoother frame rates, and faster loading and window resource grabs.
DX8 is also a huge technological burden to maintain for the TF2 team. If we get usage numbers down for it, that would be a possible graphics pipeline they could drop support for, and thus improve efficiency by removing all those outdated pathways and not worrying about compatibility.
