you could look at this one of two ways though. one being hes just trying to save face and its a very hollow apology or the other being hes actually feels remorse and needed something this big to realize that he needs to stop being an awful human and the apology is meaningful. i'd say time will tell but this stuff usually blows over rather quickly (say what you want about that). like most people i dont think the dude should be crucified for it but he does deserve what has happened.

no one has mentioned this yet and not that it at all justifies anything he said, more or less playing devils advocate, but the subreddit where his racist posts were made was ImGoingToHellForThis and the entire premise of the subreddit is to post very dark humor. personally to me it makes what he said hold a little less water but regardless, stupid is as stupid does, and the entire situation is ridiculous on both sides, but context matters.

they've literally had this current roster for less than a month and there's really only two teams they "should" beat

nice kid, good soldier, he just need to learn to apply the criticism he is given and he'd be a pretty good player. his schedule was a bit inconsistent but if he fixes it he will be a good pick up for an open team wanting to improve and work together.

what i am about to say DOES NOT speak for the rest of the players on this team because the rest of them seem like really nice people who just want to play the game. however, every single interaction that i've had with masterj has been completely awful.

in the preseason when he was playing with this team (or some form of it) he told one of my teammates that he wanted to play on our team despite the fact that he was making his own because "our team is way better than the one he was trying to make". this was just disregarded and the only other experiences i had with him for awhile were him being incredibly annoying and asking me almost everyday to scrim at 830 even though i made it very clear my team started scrims at 930. then we scrimmed his team on process week and he started shit talking one of the players on our team calling him awful saying that he was getting carried and doesnt deserve to play on our team. he then challenged said player to "an mge duel" and the condition of it was if my player lost we would "have to cut him" and if he lost he would cut himself from his team. he then told me to make sure that i would cut him if he lost. i told him i wouldnt do it because everyone on our team had a role and was integral to the team despite what the stats say. he then started attacking me and other players on our team for no reason whatsoever.

masterj is extremely egotistical and childish and only cares about winning scrims and jerking off to stats. apparently he did the same shit s24(?) and changed his name to "start anew" however that seems to not be the case. BEWARE AND PROCEED WITH CAUTION.
