idk the last point in general is so garbage, it's impossible to push/poke off of a small advantage like you can on other maps. one person dies on snake, you can at least poke into lobby and look for picks elsewhere. badlands ur chained to the point cuz a spy cap can fuck you in 2.143254 seconds. if you keep someone on last you're essentially even on players and you do nothing for another 4 sack waves

jetzthe last time pugs were good was 2017-18 pug champ imo
Even pugchamp right at the end (b4 website died) was pretty good. If you were newer/lower div there were always pugs starting around 5pm that had a good mix of invite players and lesser known players. They were always really chill too

I can't really speak for EU but NA pugs right now are abysmal. Everyone knows that less people are pugging in general, but the quality of pugs has also kinda gone downhill. It's just speculation but we've been missing an incentive for a long time now, and I'm not talking about faceit points or anything like that, even an ELO system would be good enough. Right now there's no weight to pugs so it's all about picking your friends or trying to inflate your stats. (Obv playing with your friends isn't bad in itself but I've seen some fatkidding atrocities in pughub over the past month or two)
