While I'm kind of torn between the new logo and the old one, I think the new one is pretty damn genius. It took me a second to figure it out (maybe I'm just slow).
Everything looks great to me, except for the logo positioning. The asymmetry on the navigation bar doesn't fit right when the logo is centered perfectly.
FFGfrom an enormous nerd's perspective the john carmack keynote is the best thing at quakecon
Where will I be able to watch this?
I guess I was wrong. I can't seem to find brackets/schedule anywhere. Does anyone have links?
I think it's after the current one. Don't quote me on that though.
v_xOriginal link's down for me. Anyone have a mirror?
I, obviously, can't see what the most recent contents of the article are now since it's down. But if it's still the same as it was when he first released the guide, I'm pretty sure a lot of the the stuff is pretty outdated anyways.
Disable multi-core rendering.
Or just skip less ticks at a time.
I'd recommend not using 24 hour time. Most people in NA use 12 hour time. Not a huge issue, but would probably be preferred by most people.
Also tragic is a fucking boss.
I don't know anything about Dota 2 but go Na'Vi!
I have a Zowie ec1. Mousewheel is pretty broken after only a month of use, but other than that it's been great.
Thanks, I'll check that out next time I'm on my pc.
While we're on this topic, can someone explain to me if it's possible to stop my HDD from "sleeping". I use an SSD for windows and tf2, but all my other games and music are on my HDD. Sometimes I'll be in the middle of listening to music, and it just stops playing, and I can hear my HDD spinning back up, and then it continues to play.
It seems like my HDD just decides it doesn't need to be used anymore and just stops spinning.
