#2 Stream Chat Toggle in Site Discussion

All you would end up with is larger black bars on the side I believe, because both Twitch/TFTV maintain the same aspect ratio. The stream wouldn't actually be larger.

Also can you explain why you would want the regular site sidebar on the stream page? It doesn't update without refreshing, and it seems unlikely that someone would refresh a stream page to see the sidebar updated.

#13 to the person who owns the tf.tv DM servers in TF2 General Discussion
vilegranary - yard (wtf?)
badlands - spire/forward (wtf?)
gpit - long b tunnels (wtf?)

Those are all good spawns, because they don't spawn you in a spot where you die before you get a chance to move your mouse. 8 people can be a lot in a single fight at times, and thinning it out makes DM better imo.

On topic, I think Turbine is a good DM map if you don't play scout. It's too enclosed, and with all the spawns so close, you often die 5 times in a row before you get a decent enough life to kill anything.

#12 The survival of comedy in a post-gotfrag tf2 in Site Discussion
2sy_morphiendConsidering that both notor is gay and killing is a faggot are jokes from gotfrag I don't see how that's worthy of deletion when there's stuff a million times dumber than in-jokes that get posted around here constantly.

So what you're saying, it that because gotfrag was allowed to be an immature shitfest, that TFTV has to be too? TFTV is not gotfrag (despite the fact it originally looked like it), so I don't think you should expect it to be.

2sy_morphiendBoth would you rathers that got deleted had more than a page of people actually talking seriously about the question.

The last would you rather I saw had people making Jew/Camp jokes, and the entire thread seemed borderline racist. If there was set rules, I imagine that would be covered by it.

2sy_morphiendI'm genuinely interested in knowing if there is now an explicit ruling on the content we're allowed to post here.

This is a fair point, and I hope enigma answers it.

MastreillyMeanwhile TCM consistently takes maps off of Epsilon in BO3s,
Hardly consistently. They have only done it twice in the last year. Season 14 finals and now I49 grand final.

I don't really follow EU too much, only the big things. But isn't that 2/3 of the last BO3s they've played?

Unless of course ESA did BO3s, I have no idea the result of those.

I have no idea of the costs, so I might be talking out of my ass.
With the near $20k donated each year, what would happen if we donated all the money to a TF2 prizepool, or completely ran a community driven LAN. This would probably only be possible every other year, since I'm assuming the costs are very high and would essentially take double what we donate each year.

Higher prize pools would also entice sponsors to help send teams to the LANs rather than having the community donate.

Is anyone here experienced with LANs? How expensive are they?

GrImpartialreillyEsDeeKayGG, TCM and Immunity biggest suprises. Was TCM really a surprise? They knocked out iM and HRG, also contested Epsilon very heavily. They were predicted to win 4th by almost everyone and they got 2nd. That's a surprise. GG

People expected iM to be a little behind due to isolation, so I understand why they were a surprise. Meanwhile TCM consistently takes maps off of Epsilon in BO3s, and once we saw how far ahead Epsilon was playing from the other continents, I don't think TCM doing that well was much of a surprise.

This hurts the eyes a lot less. While they look nice, it's just that the idea is out of place with the cleanliness of the rest of the forums.

#33 Logs.tf match stats in Projects

It's a shame, the webpage and stats available for logs.tf is so nice, but the convenience of SizzlingStats seems to having taken over it.

Even though, I'm pretty sure there is a plugin to autoupload logs.
