Trying to put together a working 4:3 version of bwhud and i'm struggling to find most of the main menu items that are broken.

Where would find the things in red boxes in the hud files and what would they be named as in the files?

If you're using an amd gpu than that's the reason why, amd removed support for dx8 in it's newer drivers and it messes with particles like rocket trails and the "electric uber thing", the only way to fix it if you do have an amd card is to rollback your drivers.
If you're using an nvidia card though i wouldn't know
