-If they did the thing where you have to get ringers approved before they can play an admin or mod would have informed them most likely that they couldn't use 3 ringers.
-If they also just use the big button to go to rules on the rgl website and ask themselves the question of how many ringers we are allowed to use before just playing a match with 3 ringers this wouldn't have happened.
-It is scummy to not tell them how ever they have all the available resources for this situation to not occur.
Yeah but you guys also told them it was allowed and you wouldn't report it so you still suck lol

I literally made a post defending young man yesterday saying he didn't deserve to get benched and shit and now his and the entire teams true colors are revealed. Can't even say they didn't know because they legit wanted ybg to ring 3, new they'd lose no matter what, and young man even deletes the vod so people can't have proof of this sub-human behavior. What a dreadful team, what an awful and humiliating way to end the season.

Win or loss it's shitty to bench a main roster. If you don't want to play with someone, cut them. Young man didn't deserve a season wondering if he'd even be allowed to play.
His team nearly got dbk in for him in our match, and didn't even want him to know they were planning to bench him. The only reason he got played is cuz we rejected the ringer. I'm not a good TL and I didn't lead my team to the success we wanted, but at least it's better than permanently putting someone on edge about their place on a team, only to bench them for the deciding match of the season.
The justification of "you were playing for the last 6 matches that you lost" is not at all relevant here. Win as a team or lose as a team. Don't string someone along the entire time so you can rat for bottom seed playoffs.
I normally don't post on here but as his teammate I will to explain the warped picture young man is trying to paint here. young man for the past month has been leaving mid game multiple times to do tasks like make tea or gatorade or food or go afk for other unknown reasons. He gets scrims and then sleeps past our scrim time and doesn't inform anyone of the other team's contact so we have to hunt down the other teams leader. He will consistently not try in scrims saying he's "saving his energy for the match" and feed the entire game. He will not listen to comms and it's cost us games. It's not even a skill issue and instead a player issue. He doesn't respect his teammates enough to play, listen or even show up to half our scrims and that's why he was benched for the last game.
If this is a consistent thing is that not when you're supposed to just cut him? And if not, just deal with it? Not saying young man is in the right here, and it is good to mention the reasoning I guess. It just seems like both sides were making the wrong decisions then. That being said talking my talking about it in tftv is also nooby

I'm like 90% sure the past homophobia/transphobia/anti semitism is a thing of the past now. In my experiences with him, he has reliably good dm, main calls and doesn't emo out even when I know most people would. If anything, his calls are a little basic and at times wrong, but it happens.
As for the whole overly religious brainwashed 13 year old rep, I'd say this is also largely a thing of the past. The only time I've ever seen him mention it is when we were both ringing for a dreadfully transphobic and occasionally racist team, he just spoke in bible quotes or something and shut it down. I don't really know what he was talking about but it seemed pretty based.
Overall I'd if nothing else, give him a chance and look past his old rep. If you don't like him now, either for personality or gameplay, that's fair. But he absolutely does deserve a chance with most people, even ones he's previously wronged because I do get a legitimate sense of reform and growth from him that you don't see often, but welcome whenever it does happen.

bearodactylSounds like you're just strafing in the opposite way and cancelling your momentum
Afterglow has some old videos which I found helpful while starting out which show his keyboard presses live with the video, if you hold the strafe key while doing a wall shot you will definitely slow your momentum down cause you really only strafe when you want to move back towards the wall while facing forward (then you turn towards the wall and shoot). Not sure he has an example of alternating walls but understanding the mechanics for one wall you can apply it to two walls by switching between strafing right and strafing left at the right timings. When learning I found it was much easier to watch good jumpers and try to replicate their inputs, vs jumping entirely on my own and being led astray by a bunch of silly mistakes that I don't notice

Jumps 3,8 and 12 (timestamped in the video) all sound related to what you're dealing with, and the video goes into a lot of detail to make sure you understand these jumps very well.

do you have a clip or anything of what you're experiencing, preferably with skeys and speedo on? I'm pretty sure your problem would probably be more to do with where you're aiming your rockets, or possibly holding strafe keys too long into the "next wall" but it's hard to be 100% sure without seeing what you mean exactly.
