#25 Soap DM vs MGE in TF2 General Discussion

For scouts,

MGE = Best for practicing aim because the opponent will always be focused on making it hard for you to hit them, while in DM you spend a lot of time shooting soldiers running in a straight line in the back. Obviously, Its really good for practicing for 1v1 situations. I find scout vs soldier MGE to be really good practice because you get to work on your Projectile and Hitscan movement.

DM = Best for practicing group fights, Playing in disadvantageous situations (2v3, against a soldier while youre inside of the house on badlands etc, hitting the easy shots on unaware people), and proper movement when more than 1 person is firing at you.

#54 I'm mad at misconceptions (about TF2) in TF2 General Discussion

is it just me or is quake really not all that fast? From what i've seen from watching duels on youtube, a lot of it seems to be running around in circles picking up armors and weapons until they think they have an advantage over their opponent.

Yeah i also live really close to seattle which is why I'm trying to raise some interest in this lan. Since there's probably going to be a tf2 tourney we should definitely have some sort of showing, because its our chance to prove to these people that tf2 is popular as a lan game which helps the competitive scene because sponsors awareness yadddayaddayadda e sports lan blahblahblah

tickets are 30 dollars. 177 tickets left. I really hope we can get a decent amount of people to this event because of my super selfish reason, which is that I dont wanna go to a LAN far away in canada or some shit lol.
