recently switched over to Linux and can't seem to get 144hz working in TF2
I've set the correct refresh rate in my display options + NVIDIA driver settings, it works perfectly on the desktop and some games (namely Tropico 5) but in TF2 it's just choppy 60hz no matter what settings I use despite my FPS counter(s) showing up as constant 300+
any ideas? using Manjaro 17.0.5 w/ XFCE
EDIT: i turned off display compositing in my Window Manager tweaks and it immediately corrected the issue
i really liked having a pug service with a map rotation that actually got semi-frequent updates
now we're back to playing koth_bagel and last season's outdated version of granary pro on pugchamp until next year
bleghfarecHonestly, as someone who used to play mixchamp, its server should really be moved to pugchamp. The mixes have been dead for months since other pug services have come about.
Apparently the FreakPugs! site just died for good and they're going back to in-house Discord pugs, so this could change soon.

What settings and console commands control the visibility of the extra signs and team logos (highlighted) on the map? You can see them with TF2's default configuration or a cinema config like the TFTV stream/production has, but most FPS configs seem to remove most of them completely.
Here's a view of the same map with my config for comparison.
netwrkjrksnipers even better on this map than on viaduct lol, its literally no fun to play against
this is definitely my biggest complaint, really enjoy the map otherwise

EDIT: downloaded the other updated version from huds.tf and it seems to work fine
