was doing tryouts for the same low open team as griff. it apparently took him about an hour to even say which position he wanted to try out for (it was pocket), and every time i saw him in the death cam he would be doing things like running away from a scout on mid when we were holding last. i'm assuming he was throwing because people have told me he's highopen, but why get a tryout just to troll?
ya i know a lot of teams that i know are playing but don't show up. not time for panicmode yet

that's still kind of a ridiculous expectation, seeing as how fast the cannonball moves and how big its explosion radius is. if anything the current strat of listening to the demo charge up the ball still works better.
i think the bigger problem with its combination of speed and huge radius and variable det distance is that its effectively impossible to dodge the 40 damage airdets.
also i got the latest version and now my server browser is ugly
