#19 New Zowie ZA in Hardware

MattI've never touched them on my non-dominant hand. On my FK(2?) you have to choose which side buttons you want enabled, you can't have all 4 enabled.Bucakethey're quite annoying to me. my ring-finger is always touching them. i would've preferred a version with only side-buttons on the left side.
i'll 'forget' the buttons if i'm very focused on my game, but i don't think i would ever get a mouse with buttons on the right side like this again.

hmm im looking for a new mouse but something like that would bug me if bucake is right. are you guys using claw or palm grip?

the biggest trick is balancing the scoring system so that every class is as useful as every other class. as i see it right now the ideal team would be 6 pockets, since they are likely to topfrag and damage every game, as well as have the highest FA/D. Some things to bring into account might be frags/damage, heals taken, and medic assists.

GetawhaleI'm curious to hear what your thoughts are on the whole "people who play longer get higher stats" thing. Because I know it can become an issue based on how the scoring ends up being done. A brief experiment with fantasy stats was tried in UGC and this is what was found.. whoever played the longest games got the best stats.

obviously everything will have to be done as a ratio (frags per death, damage per minute)

probably the most all-around solid map in the rotation imo

gully is good overall but on a micro level i always just feel like i'm waiting for someone to walk through a choke and then shooting the choke

deetrI don't think I've met anybody who dislikes process because of the map, the only reason people dislike process is that it's overplayed (of course now that I post this somebody is going to say they hate the map but what can you do)

i personally hate the mid a lot, but that's just me.
as for stuff i've seen about the map, it tends to favor the flank a lot. (for example, choke is fairly unspammable, leading to a lot of no-damage choke holds, while the flank gets to do damage in IT/Sewer). i've also noticed it's very hard to avoid wiping after you lose a couple players in a push, due to how open every part of the map is. this means combo players might find it boring/unfun
people say its the roamer map because of the jumps, but keep in mind that there's no other map with more props/slopes for scouts to abuse.

this is all probably just me being bad though

What he's trying to say is that since it's hard to prevent sandbagging, they decide not to reward the sandbaggers, therefore reducing the incentives to sandbagall ur doing is contributing to the lolugc mindset and having an excuse for not being an admin that actually takes care of the league and promotes an actually health division

placement badges would be the hypest thing ever for lower level players tbh

i know when i played steel my team had a chance at winning, but without any real reward-based motivation to win we really just didn't feel compelled to work hard to beat sandbagging teams (like the Hell Xpress + asianriceguy team that didn't even win)

yes ugc is a joke but it has the potential to not be
