Maybe lower the size of the font for health and ammo a bit, and some other colors?

that screeny is old, that was on like the first day i started making it, not even using the same colors, size, fonts and placements as that picture

kacebrandbranddMenacewhy aren't you asking your beta testers these questions
i am, but its only 20 people so far, what if these 20 people had a bias and screwed with my research

You're making a hud not curing cancer. Who cares.

But since you asked, high and tight to crosshair

ik, i just want to produce a likeable product

id say most of the problems i see with your setup is just the hardware,
the biggest issue is the keyboard, steel series products are pretty shitty in general, and being a semi mechanical keyboard enthusiast myself, i feel like there are many much better options, and for cheaper too. I personally prefer keyboards like this https://www.google.com/search?q=kbt+race+le&es_sm=122&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=mg58U9_zCuLgsATo6YDgDQ&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAg&biw=1366&bih=643 forgot the official name for that type of keyboard. I suggest you look into mech keyboards a bit more. The monitor you want is ok at best, personally, i suggest you get a benq, if not get TLR's LG, there are a few others i recommend, but not that particular model. I would also suggest getting a 23incher, less screen to load = better frame rate, also its been proven that a smaller resolution increases your accuracy, and i promise that you will barely notice the screen resolution change.
other then that tho, pretty solid internal parts, just i promise use intel and nvidia, even when on a budget, its worth the money to even wait if you have too, just trust me

hookybrandbrandhookybrandbrand-dont get deathadder, but out of all the razor products, if you must, get that oneThis is really just personal preference. Many people hate the drivers, but I'm fine with them and I love everything else about my DA 2013.

Some people prefer a simple Microsoft WMO, and that's perfectly fine.
like, i agree that the DA 2013 ONLY is definetely the best way to go if you go through razor, but please, there are so many better options, i think that new, super amazing logitech, the one with the best sensor, but is heavy, and the scroll wheel becuz is metal jiggles, i think it is the g502? something like that, like i agree the hardware is definetely up to you, but i mean, i just dont think razor products are worth what you pay for
I got it for like $40 on Black Friday though. MSRP is only about $10 more than the G400s, and they have similar sensors.

see, now if the DA was 30-40$ i would have no problem with it, it would be totally worth it, the g400's are ok, but apprently the new 80$ g502 i believe is the name, is quite impressive

Dave_[*] Don't go with only a 600w PSU...you'll hate yourself for it in the long run; I've built multiple systems with the Corsair HX850w and haven't had a single issue. If you stay with the 600w, just beware, you'll need to upgrade soon
[*] I've got that monitor on another build at my house, good choice on it. No issues with it thus far
[*] Since you're going with a K series intel chip, I would suggest you get a better cooler (assuming you'd overclock, otherwise there's no point in getting a K chip) and some better thermal compound (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835209053 ; it costs 2x as much but you'll get better temps + heat dissipation)
[*] While I'm no expert on SSDs, I'm not 100% sure about the kingston ones, if you have any doubt: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147247 (used it on 3 systems, not a single flaw on any of them)

Aside from that, good build choices. I'd personally just go with the intel one because having 8 cores is kinda useless unless you do video encoding. Plus, seeing that you're going with a K series chip, I'd assume you'd want to overclock?

Biggest issue is see is your power supply; that's the last thing you'd want to cheap out on, because you're riding too close to the minimum psu requirement.

about the chip, like i said, over clocking is cool, if you know what your doing, if you dont, maybe go get some help from someone, tbh tho at that speed, overclocking isnt as important. but i seriously do reccomend you get the 4th get chip, as it is cheaper, and newer so

#16 Alanny lft Esea/Cevo open roamer in Recruitment (looking for team)

alanny might not recognize me, but i recognize him, he has rang for a team with me once, and i have scrimmed against him twice, as well as talked to him, he is a very nice guy, he has room to improve, i see him in mge all the time so i see he has dedication, not sure if he is or isnt low open ready or not, maybe find a silver team? start from there, even one season will put some experience under your belt to appear more qualified for open. Lol, better hurry, first map of the season for silver starts next wednesday. and if you actually take my advice, what ever class you play in 6s, play it in hl as well, even tho the roles are different, it gives you more experience then you currently have.

AyRyou're not gonna be able to please everyone with ammo/health placement

place it where you like it, people will like the hud if it's functional (not too cluttered, things easily visible etc) and looks pretty
if they really dislike the ammo/health placement they can move it

for the sake of helping you though, i prefer smaller numbers closer to the centre (somewhat like minmode versions of huds), lots of colours (generally light) and smooth fonts

thank you for not spitting in my fuckin face like the rest of the people whom i have done no harm too
