#13 My idea for a TF2 'league' in TF2 General Discussion
twiikuuHey bud, hopefully you don't get discouraged but I'm afraid this forum doesn't really have the target audience for what you're trying to achieve. I think r/tf2 might be a better fit.
Bests

Thanks for the information!
I do appreciate the responses, by the way. I'll probably be there next, asking for opinions and all.

ymRaisinwhy not just... play casual mode?

That's a good point- why not just play casual mode? Casual is always a mixed bag. You never know who you're going to get, and casual matches tend to be less fun due to the people that play it. In a competitive setting, you're playing for a prize (in theory) and your teammates and opponents should be more experienced and, well, mature. That's just a theoretical, of course.

Once again, thanks for your opinions!

#1 My idea for a TF2 'league' in TF2 General Discussion

First things first- I won't treat this as a league in the traditional sense. Starting it as a sort of club was suggested to me and I thought that'd be a great start. My idea is called special .tf. It's going to (hopefully) be a way to participate in tournaments using playstyles more memey in nature- like a fat scout battle or trolldier face-off. Another thing I'd like to do is a mode called "Competitive Casual". Essentially, it's Casual Mode, but in a competitive form. There are definitely other things I'd like to try, but these are the basics.

I may be able to run a server off-and-on, as in whenever needed, but the number of player slots will likely be low.

Basically, I'm looking for advice, tips, and people willing to participate.
I'll be happy to answer questions, and I do have a website set up for it here. It's not totally finished, but it should have the information you need.

For now, though, that's it! Thanks for reading this.
