there is a PM system in TFTV, surprisingly few people know this and use it

the way everything is looking I have a hard time believing we won't be forced into it

open teams dont stay in the division until someone on the team has paid their fees and the spot is reserved
it may not look like there are a lot of open teams, and there probably isn't but there is a lot more than you think there is
as for IM, I think there will be end up being 16-20 teams this time not sure what that is looking like though it's more of a guess

has there been a tournament at 930/10 EDT for NA yet? that's typically when teams scrim so it might end up with a larger turnout

There is only five teams signed up for the NA tournament! Please sign up!
Even if you do get matched up against an invite/prem team it's an excellent opportunity to see how these players play in game and you might be able to get a mentor out of it if you asked

And yes I do understand how terrible it is to get rolled 5-0 in 10 minutes first round
however there is a chance that won't happen if enough teams don't sign up
I'm not asking you to go out of your way to play but if you're available it's not that hard to get6 and play, worst case scenario you waste 20 minutes getting rolled, which sucks yes but there's a chance that won't happen and you can still take stuff away from it.

My biggest complaint with these tournaments is that there is no lower bracket, it would case the lower level teams to be more likely to play eachother and it would be more fair as to who gets the prize money as both times I've played in these my team has been eliminated by some LAN level pugscrim early on when we could have possibly come second
