It's a shame that something like this won't happen(or highly unlikely) in the U.S. Wonder when the government here will realize that forcing students into loan debt probably isn't a good idea. Thoughts?

i have problems like this all throughout my hud, because i have changed how i want things so its broken in several areas that i havent corrected yet, there is alot of stuff like this in my hud, so why would i release a hud that is only not entirely broken specifically for the demoman because thats the only class i have fully corrected?
Yes, you should release it. What we have been saying is that even though you are having trouble, it is better to release it broken, than dangle the images in our faces, when you very well know it's not in usable state. There are competent Hud-Makers who browse threads like these, who could take that unfinished hud and add their own spin on it. Wouldn't it be fantastic that there would be multiple versions of your hud, by different people? It's beneficial to everyone in the long run. Theoretically, there could be 3x the amount of hud choices if people posted their unfinished projects. All in all, if you're gonna post an unfinished hud, post some DL links so it CAN be finished, hopefully be a plethora of others. When you release it, it's going to be public anyways, so credit isn't a problem.
EricThe title of the thread is "Show your HUD modifcations", not "Share." The OP says to share if you "don't mind." Well, some people mind. Nobody is under any obligation to share anything they post, least of all some half-baked concept or another simple font-swap. You shouldn't feel as though you are somehow entitled to anybody else's work. You're not.
It's obvious that whatever Vile intended this thread to be is not what is now. These are no longer modifications, but creations. It's true that no one is entitled, but to appeal to the OP for what this thread was 'meant' to be is pointless. The fact of the matter is, people are creating(or not finishing) great looking huds, and posting them for the sole purpose of getting some e-popularity. It's more beneficial to post download links of a finished hud then to post a half-finished one and give up on it later and not provide download links.
Also, it's best that we get back to HUDS after this. Would be absolutely terrible if this thread got derailed at this point.
