#34 Favorite Superhero? in Off Topic
ToasterMIGHT BE A RANT ok im surprised no body has mentioned superman. he fucking gets constant power absorption from the sun. healing factor, He spent 15 minutes inside the sun. when he resurfaced he was powerful enough to move planets, he can hear sounds billions of miles away see through anything, see at a sub atomic level, hear through the vacuum of space. He can even see your soul. Plenty of more power. His heat vision can even reach temperatures hotter than the sun. incinerate planets in a starring contest. vibrate his body fast enough to faze through attacks even turn invisible, by vibrating just about light speed he can use the infamous mass punch, which hits with the force of a super nova which explodes with the force of 10 arctillion mega tons. He has a super brain that could process information 1000s of times faster than a human. Once fought demons with wonder woman and Thor for 1000 years. learnt how to protect his mind from telepathic attacks. he obliterated an f5 tornado with a applause. held a mini black hole in his hand. He dragged the earth around. Also this time when someone hit him with 15 super novas to the face. which is equivalent to 15 suns exploding in his face. He`s main weakness is caring and trying to protect others. Remove all of those and watch out. He can patch up holes in reality with his own static electricity. he lifted 3 Quintilian tons. went from earth to the sun in 2 minutes he could survive from a super nova as powerful as 10 OCTILLION MT OF FORCE. I feel like im ranting at this point.

TLDR SUPER MAN IS OP AS FUCK AND NEEDS TO BE NERFED

My second favorite is frank Richards lol no explanation for that one.

My favorite villain is def thanos hands down

Why do you say Superman is OP when Doomsday killed him, Darkseid smacked him around in the newest Justice League: Origin story, martian manhunter is stronger than him and he has a plethora of villains that regularly provide him with a challenge? He even has two weaknesses, kryptonite and magic. He's really strong,(which a superhero like him should be) but nowhere close to OP.

Ringo__Starrthanos best villain

infinity gauntlet series best everything

I'd like Thanos if he wasn't a carbon copy of Darkseid. The infinity gauntlet is a badass twist on his character though.

Wreathi fucking LOVE captain marvel

billy is the greatest

I think his name is officially "Shazam" now. Probably due to the fact that everyone kept calling him that. Kinda sucks that they had to do that, makes it redundant to have the name of the character correspond to a power.

NightGoatBatman is my favorite superhero.

"But he doesn't have any powers!"

That's what I love about batman. If you had enough money and technology, you could become batman.

You also need a sick butler and years of physical training.

#1 Favorite Superhero? in Off Topic

I've been addicted to comics all of a sudden for some reason, and I wanted to see if anyone else was into them. Any particular hero(or villain) that is your favorite? (explaining why you like them or recommended readings would be pretty cool too)

I'm a flash(wally west), martian manhunter, and batman fan.
My favorite villain has to be deathstroke I think.

Yours?

#4 Hardcore - The World's First Action P.O.V. Film in Off Topic

The thing that makes movies immersive is the ability to see from different perspectives and faces. Unless the P.O.V. is limited to ONLY action sequences, and traditional filming in developmental phases, this movie will ultimately get very boring after the first 15 minutes.

ToasterI dont really like girl vocalists

Dope beat, definite head-banger. Still not fond of Chief Keef's extreme lack of effort in the lyrical area though.

Song is poppy and the lyrics are nice to the beat. Vocals are sick too, love it.

#69 thoughts on ebola virus in U.S. in Off Topic
Red_Yeah dude they totally chose to have civil wars every 5 years and choose to not work and have sex with 8 different women every week so that they get aids and aren't able to work. If you take it from that angle a lot of it is self inflicted. People get aids they can't work countries get poorer and poorer and then ebola spreads and they kiss the dead people that died from it spreading it further and so on and so forth. That's just my view on it so it's debatable as everything is when it's someones thoughts.

It's not their fault masses of christian missionaries come to their country and tell them that abortion is the devil, gays are the spawn of the devil, and birth control(i.e. condoms) is the work of satan.
It's not their fault that due to the Berlin Conference and colonization of Africa that pretty much the entire continent was stripped dry and then left to fend for itself.

When people don't have education, they turn to religion. I really hate to bash religion excessively, but this disregard for science and birth control in African countries are problems mostly of the spread of Christianity and other fundamentalist religions in these places.

Wait I read your comment again, and you said that AIDS-->No Work-->Poor Country = Ebola?
You should stop now before it's too late.

Red_Honestly guys why don't we let Africa do its own thing. I mean if they wanna kiss the dead of no longer living ebola patients I'm fine with that but don't ask questions when the whole continent has it and don't come to the US or Europe.

Yeah let's just leave people to die, great idea man.

If you haven't noticed, Africa has been pretty beat up over the centuries, which has led to lack of education, government, and health regulation in many areas. So just leaving them to traditions will pretty much mean mass death everywhere.

#21 rip signing? in TF2 General Discussion
MGFreeAoshimaIunno. If I go on a $200 single malt whisky bender in one night, I'm probably going to enjoy it.

But I'll probably think it was a waste later on.

That said, if people want to spend their money on stuff like this, it's not my (or anyone's, really) job to tell them not too.

First let me say that I spent the money to send players to europe, and the weapon will be a nice bonus.

Secondly, your example is terrible because you said later on you wouldn't enjoy it. If someone continues to enjoy their weapon then it isn't the same.

Thirdly, there are so many things in the world that have no tangible value that people spend money on. Like tattoos and jewelry. Also, an unusual has no more effect on the game than a line of text.

Tattoos and jewelry are very valid forms of expression.(tattoos come in forms of art, expressions of sorrow for a dead loved one, same for jewelry) Whilst in game signed weapons are not. You're not expressing yourself, you're a expressing an avatar you control, just to show everyone that you're weapon is now 'special' because it might have the name of a professional player.
The have literally no value. They don't help you in anyway possible, except boost the internet ego, which is poor reason at best. I'd rather have tattoos on my body than my soldiers' body in TF2.
There is absolutely nothing WRONG with buying a signed weapon/expensive hat, it's just not practical.

TwistedboppetHe didn't. He just said it's a waste of money.
But if they enjoy it it's not a waste for the person paying???

I think It's completely wrong for anyone to tell others what to spend their money on, as they possess it and most likely earned it. As for me personally, I think it's more practical to invest in things that are tangible in reality, rather than items that do not even affect gameplay and otherwise only serve as an online ego booster.
Feel free to 'enjoy'(?) your signed weapon.
