Using the titan is pretty boring to me, but the rest of the movement is amazingly fun. The maps are well made for the movement.

Getting a ton of kills in game then seeing that only 3-4 of those weren't bots is annoying.

#3 Anybody know what commands work with STV relays? in Q/A Help

From the (very limited) testing I did with STV relays, I recall that even plugins running on the relay can't get easy access to the game it's relaying.
A plugin I ran on a relay that was connected to another STV was saying it had no map loaded, and no players playing, but in-game it was relaying everything just fine.

Based on that, I think they connect to the game's STV and just pass on the raw data to the spectators on the relay, it doesn't try to simulate the game.

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but there's now an opt-in beta with a temp-fix for the viewmodels

They're working on making it a permanent fix in the main game, but for now you can opt-in to this, download a small update, and play the demos.
It fixed sticky launcher on the demo I had, but I'm having trouble getting more to test with due to my connection, so if others would like to try it out go ahead.

Online play and demos from after halloween won't work until you opt-out again.

That was a response to me. I was checking for updates on the bugs, and if they weren't working on it, any pointers for 'fixing' via a plugin.

As for contacting individuals in valve, once you know who you want to contact it'll either be a Google away, or a search through one of their mailing lists

Need a few people to help test b5 while I work on it.
New UI system, only medic info using it right now. Released version will let you customise it completely, though this test is just omp hud style and doesn't show the +% advantage yet, and doesn't hide itself if there aren't enough medics. Offset commands don't do anything either.

You don't need to have omp hud installed, it will work with any hud. Example, default hud

PM me if you want to test it, I'd like to keep this thread for talk about full releases.

I want to check:
- I'm bundling all the right files,
- if anyone drops below 30fps. I drop from ~85 to ~35 with this, want to know what others get & if I can make it better,
- and if anyone can make it crash somehow.

For people that want to customise it when it's out, brush up on your html & css styling because I gave up on the normal hud files.
I'll release default hud & omp hud styles so you can see how it works, but basically, if you can make it in a webpage & work on Chrome, 99% chance it'll work the same in game. Omp hud example is hosted here if you want to check the source

This will also be the last 'beta', the 'official' version 1 will support more custom UI and maybe some extra things to help streamers, like a console in another window so you don't bring it up on stream.

Dunno if it's what Rick means, but a bunch of streamers & casters use miek's spectate helper plugin

Bind some keys the way that post says, then in pre game go through each button and note who it goes to. I think it goes in order of who joins the server first?

You won't have to redo binds every game, but it won't work for players with " in their name, and if someone leaves the order will change (I think everyone after that player just gets moved up one key, and when they reconnect they're at the end, but I'm not sure)

Actually he might mean atmo's STV binds program. There's a thread here if you search for it
