The problem with Valve's TF2 updating scheme right now is that change to gameplay isn't coming fast enough. In Dota 2 or heck, even CS:GO, balance changes happen casually in updates. Just a while back they changed the inaccuracy for the AK/M4 to encourage tapping and short sprays.
But in TF2, we get droughts of weapon balance because they're sticking to this slow and painful scheme of releasing balance changes only with major updates, which happen months and months apart. And if those balance changes suck, we're stuck with them for another 6 months and we have to wait for them to see if they fuck up the next balance update.
Going somewhere with Valve hopefully.
Considering how different all four of the generalists play, I think being queueing with class preference should be in FACEIT definitely. However, I think you should be able to queue as multiple classes to help alleviate the long queues, so there will be more possible games out of the queue pool.

IMO Freestate needs to be more expensive. His DPM in the S22 Finals was insane. (especially considered he has the second least heals in the entire server)

nite2 medic would be fine if medic couldnt recieve an overheal. it makes sense lore wise too, because medic has to insert a special heart into his patients in order to use the medigun on them and he wouldn't be able to do that surgery on himself. problem solved youre welcome valve
The uber-heart is purely for ubercharge and not for healing patients. This is help true with the Quick-Fix being used on the Heavy in Meet the Medic during his Uber-Heart transplant to keep him alive without a heart.
Also in Meet the Medic, it's presumed that the Heavy is the first person who he's ever implanted an uber-heart in, considering the rest of the classes are waiting outside of the surgery room after the video. Also, he isn't ubered when he ubercharges the Heavy at the end, most likely because he didn't have an uber-heart prior and later gave himself one.
And really, Medic's pretty insane, why wouldn't he perform surgery on himself in ze name of science?
Cornpop16Is there a higher quality version of that image anywhere? Would love to use it as a background, but it's so small.
uberchain will probably release a higher def version soon. You could try contacting them, though.
I guess now we wait for them to tweet it?
EDIT: and of course make a Facebook post. (pretty please?)
I think the best way to add class limits is to use the three original class groups they made: Offence, Defence, and Support.
Add a 2 class limit to the offence classes (scout, soldier, pyro) and a 1 class limit to defence (demo, heavy, engi) and support (medic, sniper, spy). It's lenient enough to allow the standard meta, but restrictive enough to now allow for the ridiculous class stacking you see in current CompMM.
I mean yeah, it's not as perfect as just adding say, ETF2L class limits, but it's not as arbitrary as real competitive class limits, so new players won't get confused by the odd limits and also helps push 6's MM as an "offensive" gamemode.
valve is going to try to turn 6's into hl
