yes yes there is merit to the fact that the cringy thread was up in TF2GD for far too long, but please understand that they're still volunteers, which you just can't seem to get through your head for some reason. especially given how old this game, this site, and this community is, some things just slip through the cracks or just aren't worth their time. the thread wasn't given a "mod seal of approval" or anything, nothing was just done about it, which is a fair criticism, but to what end

a huge issue with preventative measures is that it's not entirely public how effective measures are because if everything is done right, people will assume nothing was done at all. please realize that every single one of the teamfortress.tv staff are volunteers who take time out of their lives to continue curating and creating content for this dead game

posts still get deleted and people still get banned, and complaining to a bunch of volunteers about them not putting in enough work is not only insanely rude, but you are contributing absolutely nothing of value.
