#66 i61 Thanks in LAN Discussion

Huge shoutout to moist penguin for letting me borrow his pc last minute in order to compete in the open tourney
Shoutout to Bad News Bears for picking up my clown ass on pocket and farming nerds with me, even though we didn't make it into the playoffs we had some close matches (vs yohn's team, getting 5-0'd by yak & nation in 11 minutes wasn't too fun) and I had a good time playing with you all (also big shoutout to x-tis for taking a bus all the way from lithuania and playing on a 60hz laptop, what a fucking trooper that takes some real dedication)
Shoutout to the the weebs for taking me along with them to nandos, was a great time getting to know y'all and chilling
Shoutout to krafty and papi and thaigrr for watching the gf with me
Shoutout to the svift guys for chilling at the bar with me and paddie waiting for a table at nandos (shoutout to svmzi for suggesting the south african white wine, it was surprisingly good given i normally hate the taste of wine)
Big shoutout to banny for being super nice and a joy to talk to (hadn't really gotten a chance to at i58 or esa since we were both busy winning our open and invite tourneys, respectively Kappa), also huge props to you as well for buying us shots and then randomly handing me a jack and coke later on in the night out of the blue haha
Big shoutout to kermit for being a surprisingly good caster and for being my boy and correcting whoever said banny was the only player from NA playing in the tourney, #openlivesmatter
Special shoutouts to funs, thaigrr, paddie, gubbins, cornpop, tino, gemm, turbotabs, and turbomonkey (i always confuse your guys' names haha), and anyone else I'm surely forgetting
Giant shoutout to Henry and the production crew, casters (esp. war and getawhale you guys did great) and everyone behind the scenes for spending countless hours to make this happen and putting on a spectacular show for everyone
Shoutout to everyone I met and talked with, I had a wonderful time and will miss you all <3

FunsShoutout to everyone in general for making this lan just as good if not better than last year's.
Shoutout to bear for coming to lan again all the way from across the pond, someone put your mod mic in my bag probably assuming it was mine, so I have accidentally stolen it. On the other hand, I never recieved and/or found the webcam I lent you so that's great too :D
Shoutouts to people who made it down for just one or two days to say hi, i.e kraftydave, Thaigrr.

No worries my man, you can keep the modmic I haven't used it at all since I got my yeti, and you deserve it for slaying nerds and getting third :3
As for the webcam I think Frysk is going to try to mail it to you, he was going to give it to me but i figured that'd be easier.

harbleuI'll gladly take credit for it

If you take credit for that you also have to take credit for killing yourself by rocket jumping and trying to rj with a shotgun out and shooting the floor

#72 i61 streamed? in Q/A Help
ymRaisincorsaevery single one of them would agree that they are playing worse than i58 crowns. Can a member of Se7en confirm this?

i58 crowns was playing 7v6, i61 7 is playing 6v6
believe it or not its pretty useful to have a coach to constantly micro people and maincall while your team is free to focus on dm

#38 What's a good mousepad? in Hardware
JojoI'd also like an explanation about the differences in the artisan pads. Some research I did seemed to indicate that the Shidenkai was the fastest pad and since I love fast pads I decided to try it out. Before this I've been using a glass pad so that my mouse pad wouldn't wear out but the "glass coating" of the shidenkai seemed too interesting. It is definitely the fastest pad I've ever used (compared to glass, goliathus speed and the qck) The surface is sort of hard to describe, feels like cloth but if I run my nails over the surface they sort of scratch along the surface like a hard pad.

If anyone has any long term experience with the shidenkai I'd love to hear how it has held up.

Edit-oh should probably mention because it's not clear for anyone interested, the glass coating on the shidenkai does not mean it is a hard pad. It rolls up like any other soft pad just fine. It seems like either it's like a glass powder(or some other crazy option) or not really glass at all.

I have the shidenkai mid (tried shikis at lan and bought one) and can confirm that it is indeed quite fast, had to turn down my sens for it to feel natural. I've had mine for ~6months and tried cleaning it today but it was kind of tough to get all the dirt/grime off with just water. Since it was only available in white when I bought it, it gets dirty a lot quicker, but apparently there are also orange and black versions which are probably better in that regard.
