as someone from na who's gone to lots of eu lans i can definitely agree with clock about the travel fees and stuff being expensive, but im pretty sure banny mostly says that stuff cause he wants to get another big NA lan like rewind and have the top eu team(s) come instead of him flying to europe for the 8th time (i46, i49, i52, i55, i58, i61, i63, swelan)

i think if blaze and everyone on his team was keen to go for the next iseries he would probably go though, especially after covid i think a lot of ppl really want a big lan tourney (but maybe there's an na one in the works that theyd prefer)

also i agree with doughy in the sense that banny gets a TON of hate from lots of people and can handle it fine, but i think he does often assume that large groups of people (like tftv, invite circlejerks, or all of eu lol) legitimately hate him and sort of views them as enemies, when the reality is people just want upsets and to see him not always win

edit: to the point of the thread tho i dont think anyone disagrees that jay is one of the best, up there with past froyo pockets like yomps/paddie/lansky and top eu pockets like kaptain/mike/silentes/papi
it's hard to really compare between pockets tho cause froyo plays so combo scout/demo heavy that pocket is sort of a second roamer and jay ran spoon anyways so was especially roam-ey

i personally rate paddie more highly than other less comm-heavy pockets (also aim, who people forgot played for froyo, but im biased having played with both of them lol), but but dm and jumps/timing wise jay is definitely one of the strongest
