Idk why he wants to play scout/soldier, he's the best demo in tf2...

He and Getawhale should team up, 6'8" brothers
Lunacide The people who are currently playing at the highest level are overwhelming in support of keeping the crossbow (am I wrong in this?). Overall the net benefit of the crossbow being in the game outweighs the negatives it brings and I don't think it should be banned (uber building needs to go though for real).
I agree with your/botmode/corsa's points for the most part and just want to point out that at least from my perspective playing medic in invite (seems like in eu people are more against it), the crossbow obviously seems broken at times but to ban it would quite drastically change the pace of the game and entire metagame for the worse imo.
Like, jerking off beaming ppl while your team slowly lose dm fights (which you largely have no control over besides healing the right player and positioning yourself correctly to avoid damage) is a lot more boring and easy than having a crossbow and having to make the decision to take off the beam and go for a risky crossbow that may save your teammates life and win the fight for you (or cause them to die if you miss) which adds a huge skill ceiling and ability for medics to carry off their mechanics
The only people who I've seen legitimately come out against allowing the crossbow are older players (marxist, lucrative, ringo, tino) who don't play the game as much anymore, nor currently play in invite and have actual experience with how it plays out in highest level play. I value these opinions of course especially given the experience of the game pre-crossbow buff, but to be honest I think they should be taken with a grain of salt. Just you get tilted in a pug where nursey or someone hits a crazy xbow to save someone's life and win a team fight doesn't mean the weapon should get banned altogether. Even more ridiculous is complaining about people asking to get arrowed, even if it is somewhat silly when you have to literally arrow like 5 people in a row or spend time to go out of your way and bow someone on mid that doesn't mean it its necessarily a bad thing for the game, like if anything that's a good thing cause your teammates actually understand how the game works and want to play around you as a medic rather than continuing to fight with half health and dying like a bot or spending 10seconds to get a pack and be out of the fight lol. I may be wrong but I haven't heard a single player in invite (in pugs, scrims, matchets etc.) who legitimately wants the crossbow banned, for the most part it's just a few stupid occurrences that piss people off, saying it's broken or needs a nerf isn't the same as saying it's so dumb it needs to be banned. Mostly everyone understands the positive benefits it adds to the game outweigh the minor annoyances (or major ones like arrow building which I totally agree shouldn't be a thing).
Marmaduke finally released from the shackles of carrying fat saam...
Also didn't slem graduate this year? Gnome eSports to make a breakout appearance at i61 !
So is there actually going to be a tf2 tourney at i61? Obviously a lot of people are going and there will probably be some sort of tournament, but I haven't heard of anything official yet. Seems kind of silly to try to make stickers and shit for an event that hasn't even been officially confirmed (afaik at least, maybe i missed it)
lifes a bitch and then you feed (thats why we get high, cause you never know when you gonna throw)
maelstrom and alder are gr8 teammates and very good at the video game for the intermediate division
morsca seems to be good as well and p chill from my few interactions with him in pugs
crispy is the best but idk about him on a fragging class tbh, i pocketed him in open on monkeysuit's frankenstein team in like s18 and he did not seem to have a good time at all (tho tbf that team was some fresh aids so i can't rly blame him lul)
omg is that my boy will :o
this team will farm, will and dippidy are pretty nuts at scout, odb is a lord, tojo and dirty mortician are solid gamers as well also now that saf has been freed from playing demon man he will have fun and probably do p well he's got good dm and isn't a complete ape (tho he doesn't quite have the requisite <20 ping for last seasons top im soldiers)
edgy as fuck (dont add him or percy on snapchat u will want to die)
also where did s23 go did that just not happen lol
wrechedddddwhen is the appropriate time to play spy
step 1: go spy
step 2: die and respawn on spy again (there's no way the enemy team expects you to go spy again)
step 3: die and respawn on spy yet again (there's NO way they'll expect you to go spy a third time!)
.
.
.
step n: die and respawn on spy one final time (at this point there's no way they'll see it coming after so many failed attempts)
step n+1: fail yet again, give up
lucrativeI know its hard sometimes because of the rumors that show up on forums, but it would be nice if invite teams did a better job of keeping their roster moves discreet and TFTV did a better job of reporting them in a timely matter. Every roster update post for the last few years has just been way late after everyone already knew the roster change that was happening, not entirely TFTV's fault but would be nice if they were the first line of contact with that stuff. It kinda loses its merit after a while if they are always old news
For the most part that kind of stuff usually gets out at least to a decently small group relatively quickly, not saying its impossible but probably unreasonable for tftv to literally be the first that hear about these things. There are definitely exceptions to this though, for example at ESA when I learned in the car ride back from the airport that muma was playing for 20b and not my open team lol.
How would you recommend backing up a hard drive setsul? I have some of my important stuff backed up online but idk how drop box would feel about trying to upload the contents of an entire 1000gb drive
