have tried it with both my desktop and laptop and with the desktop it would be mostly fine but when i moved it around it'd sometimes go in and out
i do have another 1/4 inch to 1/8 inch adapter and could try it with other headphones but i think its probably the headphones themselves
now that i think about it tho it probably go messed up on the drive home from uni cause it was relatively fine until i got home and plugged them in for the first time and could only hear from the right ear

my grado sr225is have been really buggy recently and the audio switches between the right ear and both ears
for some reason adjusting the cable and messing with it usually fixed it but i think i cant get it to work now
not sure if there's anything i can do other than get a new cable or re-solder shit (which i dont really know how to do)
have had them for like 2 years dunno if the warranty works

Civ V is definitely a better game than the newer civ games but I don't know no think it'd categorize it as 'just as fun today as the day it came out' because the base game sans dlc/mods was kinda meh
