That's weird, I guess you gotta replace every instance of Verdana in the font scheme file instead.
I picked Michigan to win the whole thing b/c they've been on fire recently. They can legitimately beat any team in the country in their present form.

I believe it's to do with HudMatchStatus.res, but I've only been able to get rid of the entire timer, not just the background.
Continuing from that, anyone know what controls this part of the hud? This has been a little bit messed up for a while and doesn't show the blue background at the end of a casual game. (The left hand side should have a blue background like the red on the right)

the timer bg is controlled by hudobjectivetimepanel.res, make sure the following parameter is under TimePanelBG:

WiethoofdThe arena mode stuff can be replicated on a local server, make sure to have sv_pausable 1 and pause the server, even recording a demo should make the element show up so you can find it with vgui_drawtree
The thing is, it's seemingly impossible to replicate AFAIK. The best way I know of would be, creating the arena server, joining spectate, adding bots, then joining a team mid-round.
However, adding bots to the server immediately throws me into the game, regardless of whether I chose "fight" or "spectate." So therefore the most reliable way to get that panel to show up has proven to be impossible.
I mean, I might try and record and play back a demo to see if it shows up, as a last-ditch effort.
