Started playing on xbox in spring 2009 knowing nothing about pc gaming. After a few months of playing I came across ubercharged.net where I was introduced to Meatshot Vol 1, Reptile the movie and the entire idea of competitive tf2. Eventually started reading gotfrag and watching pwnage, tgbf and extv. Moved to pc full time late 2010. I think the first team I played for was a terrible highlander team for the community fortress highlander tournament where we lost to mustardoverlord on viaduct.

Edit: not sure why this is getting so many -frags??? Harbleu and I came from the same TF2 community before becoming competitive, and there was a really hyped up showmatch between my team and his new one, and he won despite everyone talking shit about them. I'm not trying to take credit for his success or anything, just wondered if that match stuck with him as long as it did for me.

Here's some metal to check out if you're new or not quite sold on the idea but don't worry it doesn't actually sound like metal. You see there's clean vocals and synth and string orchestration and you gotta hear this guy he's such a guitar virtuoso and don't forget that all the lyrics are about Vikings and pirates. Oh! And the wacky time signatures and jazz influences too.
