#38 Why the pyro should have the lightning gun in Videos

Pyros current weapon is pretty similar to something like a plasma gun from quake except the flame particles have a lot of random spread, "drift" in certain directions and have projectile inheritance (i.e. they move faster if the player is moving forwards and slower when they're moving backwards). Imo you could get a more consistent flamethrower "feel" by making it a much tighter cone (or no cone at all?) plasma gun without the weird particle movement. I don't think it actually has to be hitscan.

Has anybody seen the new vids uploaded to the lasagnacat channel?

They made weird garfield themed music vids back in 2008 and have come back after a 9 year hiatus making videos with crazy production quality.

They also got people to phone in and tell them the number of sexual partners they've had in their lifetime which they made a 4 hour vid with that turns into an arthouse horror film at the end.

#7 FUNKe: TF2's State of Specialists in TF2 General Discussion

I mean if meta changes cause you not to enjoy the game then it's not like there's any other incentive to play it. Saying "if you're a real fan you'd continue playing it no matter what and just have to deal with shit" is a kind of elitist attitude that doesn't exactly help grow the playerbase. My point was in CS and dota people are more willing to stick with it because there's a financial incentive and the changes are likely to last for much less time if they prove unpopular.

#4 FUNKe: TF2's State of Specialists in TF2 General Discussion

This is actually a really well made vid that highlights a lot of the issues with valve and the game atm.

The only issue I think might not have been brought up enough is the actual lack of diversity in specialist roles- 3 defense specialists and 2 pick specialists that are easily counterable by holding certain positions doesn't exactly do much to alleviate stalemates but yeah valve probably won't do much to change that.

Another issue with valve being slow is that people are going to be less willing to allow everything or accept changes that seem like they might lead to a worse meta when the balance changes might come 18 months down the line. Contrast to CS or Dota where players are able to deal with a worse game for maybe a month when the effects of these changes become extremely apparent in their highly viewed competitive matches.

#4 mcgill and montreal in Off Topic

I went to Montreal on holiday about 8 years ago and stayed pretty close to McGill as my sister was spending a year working there. City is really pretty and there was loads of stuff to do there as a tourist (parks, cultural and historical stuff, zoos/aquariums, good cafes etc.) Though I've heard people there can be pretty insular and dislike English speakers most people seemed really welcoming and nice.

One thing that is not so nice is the climate as it was around -15°C in October when I was there and it gets down to around -40°C in the winter. However they do have an underground set of streets that are heated so you can get around without freezing. Also it didn't feel as cold as the UK when it gets below freezing because it's not as damp.

My sister spent half the year there and seemed to really enjoy it but had to come home in January because she couldn't cope with the climate.

You're posts are not interesting anymore I don't care who you are, if you still make shitposts you are living in the past and cannot accept the fact that the shows over. The community is only getting worse and if you can't realize that then you are part of the problem. This is especially true if you are actually talented, go take your talent to a community that's actually worth your time.

Shitposting on tftv was a cultural movement much like the renaissance. However, much like the renaissance, it has come to an end. The end happened somewhere in the year 2016. If you think it is still going on, you are in denial. The community has gone to absolute uncreative shit, anyone with a mind can see that.

Shitposting is ruining your mind through the power of neuroplasticity.

Tips: You can do a drug, read a book, talk with friends, go running, go biking, draw something, learn an instrument, talk to a girl, listen to music, ask questions, live your life and stop making these RETARDED things.
