All the old players are by definition worse than the new ones because they lost motivation to play. If you project along some trajectory where they did for some reason keep playing, they're going to get worse because that's what happens without motivation.

My net is like 100mbps down 20 up so I doubt its my net.

Hey, I'm keen to edit the match hud panel (the stuff at the top added in the recent update). I want to remove all the backgrounds from these hud elements, and if possible change the class portraits to class emblems (maybe change the way the health bars work as well). Is there any easy way of doing this?

Actually unpopular opinions:
Battle royale games won't be bad to spectate if done right (They're literally based on a successful fictional premise that's supposed to be enticing to watch, it's going to be pretty easy to understand for spectators).
Whether fortnite has robust enough mechanics to actually qualify it of being 'deserving' of being an esports title (this doesn't actually matter to 99% of people) is another question. It's certainly no quake or starcraft, but imo it's got more room for mechanical skill than a lot of existing esports that have prizepools.

vulceeeplaying video games and only making online friends for most of my formative years has trained me to never make eye contact with people :)my friend used to be like that but he figured out a trick, just look at their forehead, they think you're making eye contact when you really aren't
The real power play is to stare at their left ear. They can tell ur not quite looking at them, and then its u thats making them nervous.
